Who are Alumni?

The University of Ballarat School of Business recognises former students, graduates and staff (current and former) as alumni. Friends of the University are also welcome to support the University of Ballarat.

How do I join the Alumni Community?

Membership is FREE! Graduates of the University are progressively being entered as members of business)alumni. Registration can be completed online.

Why can't I register?

Your details may not have been uploaded into our database yet.  Commencing in January 2006 graduate details will be uploaded to our alumni database approximately one month prior to your conferal ceremony.  This is simply because the information that you provide when applying to graduate is the most current information we have available for you, quite often eclipsing the information available on the student database. 

This does not mean that you cannot register as an alumni member prior to your conferal.  At any time during your studies with the School of Business simply contact the Alumni Coordinator, Kara Hodgson at: tel. 03 5327 9314 or k.hodgson@ballarat.edu.au with your full name, student ID number, date of birth and course name, and we will upload your details while you wait!!

Why become a member of Alumni Community?

Being part of business)alumni will allow you to be involved with the University, as well as gaining access to certain services and benefits.

What services or benefits do Alumni receive?

As a member of business)alumni you will be able to search for other graduates and find out what they are doing now; take part in online discussion with other graduates; view and contribute to the alumni photo album, post messages to the alumni guestbook, gain access to ‘alumni only’ resources and maintain your own contact details.

How can I become involved with the University of Ballarat?

The University offers many opportunities to be involved – be a guest speaker, mentor a current student, send us your profile, partner with us in undertaking industry funded research - there are many ways! Click here for further information.

How can I support the University of Ballarat?

By registering, and being involved in business)alumni you are supporting the University Community. Many alumni find volunteering very rewarding. Alternatively, you may choose to provide in-kind or financial support. To find out more click here.

How can I contact another graduate?

Graduates have the option of making their details available to other members of business)alumni . When you sign in to the member area you will be able to search the members' details.
